One-to-one classes to help you feel prepared and ready to feed your baby; these are non-judgemental and are all about being happy with your choices.
Breastfeeding Prepped & Ready Class
In this session, we can talk about establishing breastfeeding and the key factors in breastfeeding. This class is as much about the practical and preparation side as it is about the theory.
The class covers the following
- Feeding cues
- Responsive feeding
- Positioning and attachment
- Signs of a well-fed baby
- Tongue Tie
- When to seek extra support
- Gaining confidence in feeding baby when out & about
- Hand expressing
You’ll also receive an email with lots of valuable links to guides and support with infant feeding, including videos on positioning and attachment.
Cost- 2 hour- home visit £80
All Things Infant Feeding Class
This class covers all aspects of infant feeding to fully inform you about breastfeeding and artificial feeding.
The class covers the following
- Practical elements of breastfeeding
- Positioning & attachment
- Troubleshooting
- Signs of a well-baby
- Making up an artificial feed
- Correct sterilising procedures
- Breastfeeding out and about
- Artificial feeding on the go
- Winding your baby
You’ll also receive an email with lots of valuable links to guides and support with infant feeding.
Cost- 2 hour- home visit £80
*There is an additional travel cost at 45p per mile for all one-to-one visits at home. These sessions are designed to complement not replace your regular midwifery care, specific medical advice cannot be given.
